Beef Chop Supreme

Ingredients:

4 boneless beef chops

4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

1 packet French onion soup mix

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of onion soup

¼ cup milk

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Season and Brown Beef Chops: Season both sides of the beef chops with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef chops and brown them on both sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the chops from the skillet and set them aside.

Prepare Baking Dish: Layer the thinly sliced potatoes evenly on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Arrange Beef Chops: Place the browned beef chops on top of the potato layer in the baking dish.

Prepare Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the French onion soup mix, cream of onion soup, and milk. Stir until well blended.

Add Sauce to Dish: Pour the soup mixture evenly over the beef chops and potatoes in the baking dish.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the beef chops are cooked through and the potatoes are tender.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
